Support Specialist (Strategic Initiatives Team)

We are seeking a Strategic Initiatives Support Specialist  for our Americas headquarters located on Park Avenue in New York City.  This position is based out of our headquarters, with a flexible working environment for either an in-office or hybrid work model. The Strategic Initiatives Support Specialist will report to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. They will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the support and services offered to the franchise network’s real estate professionals who participate in various expertise-based specializations. The ideal candidate should be a versatile and creative, self-motivated professional with a strong customer service orientation. The role provides a great opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders and the Americas corporate team to develop exciting new areas of growth for the company. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Ensure that Engel & Völkers Americas  tools and systems are leveraged to promote distinct market niches, working with internal teams to customize and update them as needed.  
  • Assist in creating and implementing new processes, materials and opportunities that align with our brand and support the needs of specific business segments and groups.
  • Support research and formatting for special presentations developed for meetings, events, training and new business opportunities.
  • Source and create content for dedicated social media channels, blogs, newsletters and websites
  • Manage the application and systems set-up process for members-only lifestyle groups and designations (Commercial, Development Services, Land and Ranch, Professional Athlete Advisory). Control platform access and organize and update shared content for these groups.
  • Conduct onboarding for designees, and provide one-on-one support as needed.
  • Assist in the maintenance, development and user-training related to the Strategic Initiatives/Designation dedicated websites.

Other General Responsibilities

  • Support senior executives with scheduling/calendar management and leadership meetings/agendas
  • Assist in assembling marketing plans and proposals for extraordinary listings and development projects.
  • Monitor and facilitate Strategic Initiatives team project entries in JIRA
  • Support the referrals process, assisting with placement/management and data integrity and reporting 
  • Providing administrative support to the SVP of Strategic Initiatives and associated programs/businesses
  • Assist in tracking project budgets, invoices, and financial reports. Coordinate with accounting and finance teams on project-related expenses.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with basic digital marketing trends and best practices
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy and consistency - ability to focus on details in both simple
    and complex tasks
  • Comfortable learning and working in various technology platforms 
  • Creative and proactive problem solver who is collaborative and customer focused
  • Goal-oriented and effective working independently as well as in a dynamic team environment
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite and Canva a plus

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • At least 2 years experience in Administrative support, Marketing, Creative, Communications or related fields required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred.
