We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer, eager to work with an incredible group of technologists in a highly-motivated, passionate team. You will help create, deploy and support technology to meet our client’s needs, build integrations with third party systems and solicit constant feedback from our clients and management to improve our products with rapid iteration cycles. The role requires experience on enterprise systems, SQL and NOSQL (MongoDB and DynamoDB) database systems and AWS cloud computing. Experience with JavaScript/Typescript, Node and React is desired and React Native is a plus. This is a remote position and you must be located in Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and operate our custom back-end software platforms that allow clients to grow their business
  • Connect APIs and develop integrations to connect various third party systems with our core platform and each other
  • Develop SSO integrations with all of our applications
  • Drive the processes from reactive, past proactive and into prescriptive for our solutions
  • Make enhancements and bug fixes to core platforms to better solve common customer problems
  • Work remote with your counterparts in the Service and Delivery team supporting all of our platforms and applications base while simultaneously growing it into a consolidated, single pane, prescriptive analytical machine
  • Create, read and interpret business requirements
  • Write functional and logical requirements

What we are looking for

  • 2-5 Years Experience
  • Proven experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, DynamoDB, AWS Serverless Infrastructure, SNS, SQS, SES, EC2, Nodejs, Typescript, Jest, Serverless, Cloudformation, CodePipeline and GIT
  • Experience with React and/or React-Native applications or other front end Javascript libraries
  • Knowledge of databases, database design, and a superior coding ability
  • Familiarity with the single pane of glass mindset utilizing SSO technology (Oauth2)
  • A demonstrated understanding of various challenges associated with distributed systems at scale and experience overcoming them
  • Some experience interfacing directly with customers (technical and non-technical)
  • Experience with remote office technology and work habits. You will be able to work remotely in a very flexible working environment with a dynamic team.  You will be familiar with common collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • High degree of deliverable attention on tight schedules with iterative development utilizing agile methodology
